Hello world,
This is my first blog, before I begin I'd like to state that punctuation, paragraphing, and spelling aren't my strong points so I don't usually concern myself with correcting things of this nature. I often find myself lost in my own thoughts so that was the inspiration for naming this page A Man Who Thinks.
My name is Justin Hulbert, I'm a twenty one year old male who grew up in a small town located in Northwest Indiana. I've never been incredibly outgoing so k-12 were a little boring... Didn't talk to that many people and the coursework though necessary was never of much interest. Nonetheless I did what I had too, graduated in 2009 and started to pursue a four year degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology at Purdue North Central (a Purdue satellite campus near home.) After my second year I began to realize that even though I've enjoyed electronics as a hobby for many years I no longer wanted to pursue it as a career. I submitted an application to Purdue West Lafayette as a student in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, got accepted, and began my third year down there. It's a lot more "down my ally" and I've really enjoyed it, I'll be starting my fourth semester here in just a few days.
When I'm not at school or hanging out with my girlfriend I'm usually thinking up my next project. Much of my time is spent teaching myself all sorts of things. Such as welding, basic electronics/programming, woodworking, computers, CAD, sewing, construction stuff, landscaping you name it. A lot of stuff that is just knowledge in it's purest form, things that can't even be put into words or printed in a book. Often I'm forced to teach myself new things out of necessity, it's never much of a pain, in fact I enjoy every minute of it.
I don't have a lot of ideas for this blog but I guess I'm hoping over time I'll be able to share a lot of this knowledge along with stories of old projects, current workings, and those that I hope to someday start. It's also my hope that people will find an interest in my post and comment often with there opinions, ideas, and past experiences.
Till next time,
Justin
